SPRINTS

Coach Ashlee is a former elite sprinter turned youth sprint coach with over 20 years of experience specializing in the 100m, 200m, and 400m events. She competed at the state level in high school, broke county, meet, and school records, and ran against top-level athletes who went on to compete in the Olympics.

After high school, she was recruited to train under Olympic Coach Ernie Gregoire at Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC), where she studied Kinesiology and competed at a collegiate level. During her time at Mt. SAC, she participated in high-level sprint clinics hosted by Olympians Ato Boldon and Angela Williams, gaining foundational knowledge in sprint mechanics and performance.

Coach Ashlee’s passion for coaching began with training her son, who earned All-American titles, AAU and Junior Olympic titles in the 400m and 200m under her. That success sparked her drive to develop young sprinters across the Tampa Bay area, with a focus on proper mechanics, discipline, confidence, and speed development. She has worked with Phase One Track Club as a sprint Coach and then coached with the elite sprinting team My Brother’s Keeper Track Club under the mentorship of Coach Jonathan Terry.

Outside of track, Coach Ashlee is known in the Tampa Bay community for hosting women’s and youth wellness events and holds certifications in youth yoga and group fitness. She brings her holistic approach to the track, helping athletes strengthen both their physical performance and mental resilience.
